Welcome to [Study Hall]
LEAVE YOUR SHAME, OVERWHELM AND SELF-DOUBT AT THE DOOR!
SHOW UP. GET THINGS DONE.
GOLD STARS ALL AROUND!!!
First of all, welcome. I am SO glad you're here.
I know exactly how you feel.
-- More than ever, you're finding it hard to focus and actually FINISH the things that matter to you.
-- You've signed up for a TON of free online content (or you just want to clear out your closet), and you're overwhelmed and frustrate!
-- There are things you know you NEED to do, and things you really WANT to do, but somehow the days just keep slipping by...
-- Not only does it stress you out, it makes you feel like poop!!
-- You give yourself a hard time, and even hold yourself back from new opportunities, because you're afraid you will (yet again) not finish what you started.

[Study Hall] Quarantine Edition!
For six weeks, April-May 2020, we held an extra special edition of [STUDY HALL]
THANK YOU!
A big thank you to everyone who came along to any of our Study Hall, Tutor Time or Recess sessions, it was fun, informative and we got things done!
Also a big thanks to our additional [Study Hall] hosts: Kris Lantheaume, Cindy Goldfield, Barb Klein, Annette Flynn and Jennifer Jines.
Jennifer is continuing the magic of Recess here: https://www.kindagious.com/virtual-recess/
We also hosted [Tutor Time] sessions and were incredibly grateful to learn from our tutors, Stephen Warley, Paul Sockett, Sarah Harney and Barb Klein, as well as myself!
See below for more info on our Quarantine Edition of [Study Hall].
[TUTOR TIME]
In addition to our regular [Study Hall] set up, every Monday I hosted a special guest who tackled a particular topic relevant to this unusual time.
Wanna clear out the clutter (physical and digital)? Wanna re-imagine your finances and find out what you really need to make it all work? Wanna get some clarity on your new Covid-friendly business offering? How about tips for new remote workers??
That's the kind of stuff we covered in [Tutor Time].
[Tutor Time] = Short Interactive Lesson + Focused Action on that Topic!
THE TUTOR TIME TOPICS WERE:
>> April 13, 12:30 - 2:30 pm EDT - Angie Cole // The 4 P's of Purposeful Design - Watch the replay
If you're creating something new right now -- a new course, a new product, a new offering, a new business, a new presentation, a new podcast, etc. Angie Cole is going to help you take out all the guess work. Create the right thing the first time to minimize trial and error. Purpose, People, Proof and Process are the 4 P's of Purposeful Design.Angie holds a degree in experiential education, and spent over a decade as a teacher and curriculum designer. What she didn't realize until 2014 was how those skills would translate to the world of business and product design.
Come prepared with any idea you'd like to mold into something more concrete and clear.
>> April 20, 12:30 - 2:30 pm EDT - Stephen Warley // How to Calculate the Cost of Your Ideal Lifestyle (It's probably not as bad as you think!)
Join Stephen Warley, founder of LifeSkillsThatMatter.com to figure out how much money you really need to make each year to live the life you've always wanted! After doing this exercise you might be surprised to discover won't need as much money as you think! You'll also learn how many hours a week you need to work to fund your ideal lifestyle. Download a free copy of Stephen's Lifestyle Calculator here.>> April 27, 12:30 - 2:30 pm EDT - Paul Sockett // Reclaim Your Space - Watch the replay
Come and see how ‘minimalism’ means gain, not loss. Paul will share ways to stay conscious in the Keep/Don’t Keep Quandary. We’ll reconnect with our space in new ways, and take the first steps to reclaiming it. Uncover the true cost of keeping the ‘stuff’ in our lives and the benefits of letting go.
>> April 28, 5:30 - 7:30 pm EDT - Sarah Harney // Tech tips & Digital de-cluttering (make G Suite work for you, instead of the other way around!) - Watch the replay
Your tech tools are often capable of much more than you realise! Sarah will share a practical approach to sorting your Google Drive & taming your Gmail inbox, that will save you time in the future and help you feel calmer and more in control. The aim being that tech tools used well can make business (and life) more fun, more intuitive and more beautiful to look at everyday!
Sarah Harney is a Creative Project Manager who works with entrepreneurs and creative business owners to create, launch or refresh their offerings and systems. She is passionate about making your tech work for you instead of feeling like an overwhelming beast.
>> May 11, 12:30 - 2:30 pm EDT - Barb Klein // Self Care in Turbulent Times - Watch the replay
"Self-Care” is an overused and often misunderstood word – a concept that is being monetized, tracked, and turned into just one more thing to do. It's hard enough on a good day, but add a global pandemic to that, and it often flies right out the window.
In this session, Barb Klein, Possibilitator at Inspired Possibility, will share the way she looks at self-care, help you to see why it’s the foundation of everything else, and guide you to know your own needs and tendencies better. You’ll see what’s getting in the way of self-care, break through these obstacles, and identify some practices or strategies you can begin trying out right away. You will leave with some simple next steps and a commitment to honor yourself, moment by moment, even in a global pandemic.
DON'T FORGET RECESS!!
